IOM Norway Launches booklet on the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
The booklet presents the context from which Congolese refugees come. It provides a concise historical background with an emphasis on war, conflict and the humanitarian situation, as well as an introduction to various aspects of Congolese culture. It also includes information about the refugees' living situation in relevant transit countries (Kenya, Rwanda and Uganda), and about the cultural orientation that transfer refugees take part in before they arrive in Norway.
The booklet is in Norwegian and is intended to the refugees resettlement apparatus in Norway.
